The pressing goals to focus on maximing the land of BuCor, reformation of the PDLs thru income generation and imparting them knowledge on farming and most especially the country’s facing threat on food security. The PDLs were capacitated on new technologies such as nutrition, seed technology and sustainable agriculture. The project management team conducts monitoring at present and throughout the project implementation phase.
The monitoring activity will tell the National Implementing Committee [NIC] and Regional Implementing Committee [RIC] how they are doing with respects to achieving the project goals and objectives and if the project is being implemented according to plan. So the HVCDP-NPMO can addresses questions about progress towards specific activities and outputs such as:
1. Are we training the number of PDLs we planned to train?
2. Are the PDLs in our training sessions learning the skills we planned them to learn?
3. Are we going to have a successful harvest on the month of December?
This will allow the project management team to understand what parts of the project are working and where are the some adjustments may be needed to keep the project’s implementation on track.
