Region 2 HVCDP focal.person Carol Albay conducted a coordination meeting with officials of Banana processing beneficiaries — The Isabela High Value Crops Agricultural Cooperative and Municipal Agriculturists of San Agustin and San Guillermo, Isabela to discuss the provision of a 3-face electrical component for the P4.5 M banana processing center to fully operate it with electrical connection.
On the agenda was also the preparation of a feasibility study to elevate the productivity and marketability of banana value-adding product iterations while identifying institutional markets.
With regard to its 8,000 maturing trinitario cacao trees, it was agreed to arrange a learning visit by Mr & Mrs Juliet Quieb to the Calamba chocolate factory of Auro Chocolates to kbserve and learn current chocolate production technologies.
