The DA-HVCDP turns over 1 unit Packaging House Facility to the Prime Farmers Association, Inc. of Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Angat, Bulacan, 1 unit Wind Powered Irrigation System to the Coral na Bato Farmers Association of Brgy. Coral na Bato, San Rafael, Bulacan and 1 unit Greenhouse with Hydroponics under the Urban Agriculture Program to the Samahan ng Magsasaka at Maggugulay ng Tukod of Brgy. San Rafael, Tukod, Bulacan on September 27, 2022.
The activity was participated by the National Program Director of the HVCDP, Director Gerald Glenn F. Panganiban, Chief Field Operations Division, Ms. Elma S. Mananes, Agriculture Program Coordinating Officer of Bulacan, Mr. Alfredo Tolentino, Regional HVCDP Focal Person, Engr. AB P. David, Provincial Governor of Bulacan, Hon. Daniel Fernando, Provincial Agriculturist, Ms. Ma. Gloria SF. Carrillo, Provincial HVCDP Coordinator, Mr. Raymart Santiago, Municipal Mayor of Angat, Bulacan, Hon. Reynante Santos Bautista and his team.
Director Panganiban encouraged the Prime Farmers Association, Inc. to practice vegetable consolidation using the facility provided to establish a stable market and be a Good Agricultural Practices Certified. Meanwhile, Engr. David and PA Carrillo encouraged the group to help their agricultural extension workers from their locality in reporting the actual area and volume of production to properly account the total area planted and to have an accurate Planting and Harvesting data not just in the municipalities of Angat and San Rafael but in the whole province of Bulacan
