Through its High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP), the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office No. 02 (DA-RFO2) conducted a Technical Briefing on Banana Technology Demonstration Establishment at Barangay Cofcaville, Maddela, Quirino last June 27, 2022.
The participants during the technical briefing were members of the Cofcaville Banana Farmers Producers Cooperative (COBAFPCO) which was also the beneficiary of the 200 packs of Plant Growth Enhancer as added interventions amounting to P140,000.00.
Johnny Lantano of Enviro Scope Synergy Corporation discussed about Banana Fertilization while Ms. Carol Albay, the Regional HVCDP Coordinator, talked about the Good Agricultural Practices in Banana and banana bagging technology.
The activity is part of the series of technical briefings conducted by HVCDP wherein for other areas, the schedule will be as follows: on June 28, 2022 to be held at Brgy. San Francisco Norte, San Guillermo, Isabela and on June 29, 2022 at Brgy. Baliuag, Peñablanca, Cagayan.
