The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 – 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗛𝗩𝗖𝗗𝗣) convened a meeting with S&R Membership Shopping on November 28, 2025, to discuss potential partnerships in sourcing quality fresh high-value crops directly from local farmers and cooperatives. This initiative aims to expand the market for high-value crops, enhance postharvest and packaging standards, and ensure a more efficient flow of products from farms to the market. S&R also expressed its interest in absorbing oversupply and supporting the marketing of seasonal products. This marks an important step toward strengthening engagement with the private sector, increasing farmers’ income, and ensuring more nutritious food for every Filipino family. HVCDP Undersecretary Cheryl Marie N. Caballero, HVCDP-Director Joseph Manicad, and Mr. Ian Invierno, Merchandise Manager-Produce Libis Brance were in attendance at the meeting.
